Moja Love‘s popular television presenter Xolani Khumalo of Sizok’thola was recently sent packing by the popular television channel when they released a statement announcing he was fired later sharing reasons for firing him.
Xolani became a popular presenter when he showed commitment to rid Mzansi of drugs and drug lords through his television show on the popular channel.
While still airing, Sizok’thola was one of the most watched shows on channel 157 leading to Xolani becoming a hero to many community members affected by drugs.
The popular TV presenter saw himself arrested and out on bail of R20 000 after a media statement sent out by Moja Love’s Nonzwakazi Cekethe which reads:
“Moja Love TV Channels has terminated its relationship with Mr Xolani Khumalo. The channel will not be commenting on any matters relating to Mr Khumalo at this stage and wishes him everything of the best on his future endeavours.”
The channel later shared some of its reasons for axing the loved presenter stating that they were not satisfied after “questioning him about his knowledge and involvement in the unlawful incidents that led to the possible contamination of crime scenes, failed prosecution of known drug lords and unfortunate tragedies that followed the filming of certain episodes.”
They also added that the presenter formed a foundation based on his popularity from the show which was a conflict of interest.
