Meme Ditshego’s cause of death revealed

The family of veteran actress, Meme Ditshego, have disclosed her cause of death.

Meme passed away on June 25 at the age of 60, leaving many in shock while the entertainment industry mourns yet another loss. She is known for the characters she played on Ga Re Dumele, Cobrizi, The Coconuts, Muvhango, Skeem Saam and 7 De Laan, to name a few.

According to the Daily Sun, the legendary actress succumbed to a short illness. A source to the publication revealed that Meme complained about pains a week before she passed away at a local hospital.

Her death was confirmed by her agency, Eye Media Artists and tributes continued to pour in for the late, award-winning actress. Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela also took to his X (formerly Twitter) page to share the sad news.
