South African model, songwriter and singer Thandeka Ngema professionally known as Mawhoo has built her mom a house.

Mawhoo recently made headlines on social media platforms when content creator Seemah said that she should be more engaging when she is doing live performances.

In a now-deleted Instagram story, Mawhoo said that she built her mom a house and spent about R2.5 million.

Shared on X (formerly Twitter) by news medium, MDN News, they used what was written in the story as their caption.

X users took to the comment section to congratulate her whilst some had different opinions.

One user wrote that they did not know who Mawhoo was.

Well I don’t know much about her, you said Mawhoo???

Anyways I’d do anything for my mom as well and more if I had millions and a mom.

Another one said that she has money because she is getting half a million for a girlfriend allowance.

Must be nothing to her considering she was getting half a million girlfriend allowance

One user wrote, “Hopefully not in the village with no real estate value. Such amounts are better spent on properties with title deeds, so they actually count as wealth.”
