Master KG didn’t hold back after his latest collaboration with Nkosazana Daughter faced criticism.

The amapiano sensation recently shared a teaser of their new track on TikTok, where Nkosazana Daughter playfully asked, “Do you think I created a new dance challenge? Let’s make it one!”

The teaser quickly went viral, but it didn’t take long for some followers to voice their discontent.

The first shot came from @EmmanuelSteve16, who posted on X (formerly Twitter), “All Master KG songs have the same chord progression. Still hearing the same things I heard 6 years ago.”

Master KG, never one to let criticism slide, fired back with a savage response: “That same shit still hitting millions.”

He wasn’t done there, adding, “This last one I did got 18m on it. No need to change as yet.”

The clapback resonated with many, with @bhekezinhle supporting Master KG’s stance, saying, “If it’s not broken, why fix it?”

But the conversation didn’t end there. @Bazos_MP weighed in with, “You’re missing the point,” sparking even more debate about the evolution of his sound.

Despite the critique, Master KG and Nkosazana Daughter’s partnership continues to dominate the music scene.

In 2023, they dropped ‘Amaphutha and Keneilwe’, the latter paying tribute to the iconic 80s and 90s group Dalom Kids.

However, their biggest triumph came in 2024 with ‘Makhelwane’, which went gold even before its official release, according to the Yanos.

The track quickly amassed millions of streams, cementing their place as amapiano’s hottest duo.

Their success was further celebrated at the album’s listening party, where the duo was presented with a gold plaque.
