Marjorie Langa opens up about losing her baby

Actress and businesswoman, Majorie Langa, who is known for the character of Gloria Legae on etv Scandal!, recently shared her gaping wound by opening up about how she lost her first child.

Marjorie took to Mommy Diaries, a podcast hosted by her co-worker on Scandal! Mapaseka Koetle. The thespian shared that she fell pregnant at the age of 30, and lost her baby in a car accident.

“I fell pregnant when I was 30, and I lost the baby. Unfortunately, I got involved in a car accident. I was super excited. I didn’t know there was a crack in my uterus. It was the right time because I was working already and independent,” said Marjorie.

She also shared how the whole experience leading to her miscarriage affected her.

“I was traumatised. It hurt me, the whole process. People don’t understand miscarriage what you go through as a human being apart from the physical aspect.”

Marjorie also revealed that her excitement came from being relieved that she had finally fallen pregnant, after struggling to conceive on her own.

“So, I didn’t just fall pregnant normally, it was not easy. I had to go to doctor’s, who advised me to try this and try that, and eventually I fell pregnant,” she said.

The How To Ruin Christmas star currently has three children; her eldest two children are her ex-husband’s late brother’s kids, according to News24.

When she spoke to Drum magazine, Marjorie revealed that she is raising her son, Chibuike, alone after getting divorced by her Nigerian ex-husband.
