Durban Gen is a telenovela that plays weekdays on etv at 18:30. This series is a medical drama, set in Durban.

Mamkhize is no stranger to our screens as she appeared last year on South Africa’s most watched soapie Uzalo. On Uzalo, Mamkhize played the role of a mysterious, wealthy woman, whose eyes were set on the charismatic Kingdom of Canaan Church.

According to Digital Marketer Guygalconner Media, Shawn will enter the world of Durban Gen as herself in back-to-back episodes, playing the role of a sponsor to an NGO that Sne finds herself establishing later on in the series. Sne plays a nurse on the telenovela, who was a victim of gender based violence at the hands of her husband.

Both Uzalo and Durban Gen were created by Stained Glass TV, a multi award winning production house.

Everything seems to be going well for Mamkhize as she recently took to Instagram to congratulate her soccer team, The Royal AM for bagging three points in one game of three.

She said that she is dedicating the win to one of her players who is currently recovering. “Well Done Royal AM?? So, so proud of my team @royalam_fc ????? You fought and played like the champions you are! We bagged a full three points in match one of our three, very tight and difficult games. ?????This match was dedicated to our keeper, Patrick Nyame who is well into recovery. ? While you’re away, we’ll make sure we keep your spirits up with the wins ???,” she said.
