Mama Joy motivates Mzansi to get behind Bafana

by Sergio Miller

Mzansi’s favourite sports supporter Mama Joy is back in the country and is ready to do what she does best – support our boys!

The charismatic sports lover is well known for her bright colorful face art and traditional attire as she lit up our television screens for the duration of the Rugby World Cup in France.

During the seven-week tournament, the avid sports lover confidently supported our men in Green and Gold as they defended their title at this year’s Rugby World Cup.

Aside from the Springboks she also attended two other world cups in less than a year, these include the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, and the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand

Since being home, she sent messages of luck to the proteas who are playing in their World Cup in India and is now getting behind our national football team Bafana Bafana.

The team will be playing against Benin this coming Saturday 18 November at the Moses Mabhida stadium in Durban.

Taking to X (formally Twitter), Mama Joy shared a poster advertising all the details for the upcoming match and in true fashion seemed as excited as always.

Those entering the comment section were then quick to applaud her for her commitment to supporting all our national teams.

Our very own Mama Joy
