Mama Joy claims Springboks lost due to her stadium absence

After the reigning rugby World Cup champions Springboks lost to Ireland in Durban recently, on a 25-24 full-time score, South Africa’s super fan Mama Joy has come out to express that her absence at the stadium is what led to our boys losing to the UK team.

Mama Joy recently had her super fan privileges revoked after the newly appointed Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture Gayton McKenzie shared that he would rather have the money invested in developing sports at schools.

Some of the perks Mama Joy enjoyed included flights to destinations where the national teams would be playing, locally and internationally.

Mama Joy would also be booked at five-star hotels on her travels.

Claiming that her absence at the stadium resulted in the Springboks losing, the former Orlando Pirates number one fan took to her X, formerly Twitter to share:

“Babe, you had like a prophetic message to me yesterday….meaning, “I won’t go to Durban and Springboks will lose the game.”

She continued noting, “Today, Springboks lost 25-24 against Ireland. So, the Minister of Sports has to understand that Mama Joy has a lot of influence with sports, with Springboks.”

The post did not sit well with many internet users who took the time to comment:

You are selfish,if the nonsense you saying is true n you really love sports, why didn’t you pay from your pocket ?

Another user advised Mama Joy to focus on her current team, commenting:

Help Royal AM win the league first ?
