This year’s Hollywoodbets Durban July, themed ‘Out of this world,’ saw many celebrities and event goers pull out looks that no one expected. Makhadzi was one of the celebrities who shook social media with her outfit.

The Limpopo-born superstar, who also celebrated her 26th birthday on Friday, wore a black shimmery short dress, with a long black further coat. Upon posting a few photo’s on her Instagram page, social media users had this to say:

“Your designer is not doing you justice to say the least, you’re a star ⭐️ you deserve best. Don’t come for me keyboard warriors!! It’s my opinion.”

To which the Dear Ex singer responded:

“I don’t want justice my queen ?. I’m the one who tell him what to do as long as I am happy my love.”

More users shared:

“Can the Authorities lock away the person who dressed Makhadzi yhoo ngekhe inkulu emnyama ye sangoma (not a black chicken used by sangomas).”

Twitter users also went into a frenzy after seeing Makhadzi’s outfit. They shared:

“Aowa Makhadzi we can’t keep defending you. Mokoko fela out of nowhere! Nyaaa Ausi please get a stylist. Now you’re assaulting our eyes.”
