
From selling CDs in the streets; South Africa’s award-winning singer, Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona popularly known as Makhadzi has recently emerged as a winner in the BET Awards.
The star-studded ceremony took place at the Peacock Theatre, Los Angeles California, hosted by American Actress, Taraji P.Henson, while the Ghanama hitmaker accepted her Best New International Act award under the viewers choice category; live on the awards red carpet.
Makhadzi took to her X (formerly Twitter) page to share her accomplishment, captioning the post: “Congratulations to myself and all my people who have been supporting me.”
While accepting the award, the Limpopo-born singer was donned in a red designer dress. As a form of appreciation, Makhadzi bowed and lay down on her side in true Venda style.
