Maglera Doe Boy becomes the most featured artist in 2023

South African rapper and songwriter Tokelo Moyakhe professionally Maglera Doe Boy have been having a beautiful year for his music career.

The 30-year-old artist gained popularity after a video of his song with MashBeatz went viral on TikTok in 2022. Since then, Maglera have been working with various artists such as Khuli Chana, Yanga Cheif and Blxckie.

Early this year, he featured on Dee Koala’s song Gwan which received over a million views on YouTube. The duo has been working together working on gigs and have gained the listener’s best of heart interests.

He is also featured on Cassper Nyovest’s latest album Solomon. Cassper also spoke about how it was making the 018song with him.

While Best Male Hip Hop award winner continued killing features, he also worked with the songwriter and rapper Nasty C on his 2023 album I Love I t Here. In his interview in the Ebro Show, Nasty C shared that he had a great time working on the project and Maglrea was one of the artists he enjoyed working with.

In a Q&A that was done by Mandy’s Diary Show Maglera explained why he is almost working with all artists. He said the reason why he is diving in, in everyone’s project is because he wants to stray away from sounding like other artists.

He also mentioned that he does not listen much to SA hip hop, but he would love for it to go further. “However, I do acknowledge them, I have a true understanding of everyone in the game and what they do.”, he added.
