DJ and podcaster dodges a bullet as parliament members voted against deputy minister in the presidency for Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities, Mmapaseka Letsike’s request to summon him to parliament.
This follows after he made ‘vulgar’ comments, insinuating that media personality Minnie Dlamini’s relationships ended because she has smelly private parts, in a recent discussion on her break-up with Dr Brian Monaisa on his podcast, Podcast and Chill.
The Parliament members took to vote on whether MacG should face the parliament regarding these comments, and the outcome was not in Mmapaseka’s favour.
Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) member, Sihle Lonzi who seemingly voted against this request; boldly stated that he had not seen this minister when a teenage girl was impregnated by an older man in Limpopo, when Cwecwe’s case led to protests in mzansi and when teenage pregnancy stats increased in KwaZulu Natal.
The Portfolio Committee on Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities has REJECTED the populist and fame-hungry ANC Minister’s request to summon MacG to Parliament.

Sihle also mentioned his suspicions about Mmapaseka possibly being related to Munaka Muthambi, who is a former Piano Pulse host that falls under the umbrella of Mac G’s Podcast and Chill. Alleging that this could be the reason why Mmapaseka is determined to hold MacG accountable.
EFF MP Sihle Lonzi suspects that Deputy Minister Mmapaseka Steve Letsike may be related to Munaka Muthambi, who was allegedly removed from the same podcast.
This possible connection is believed by Lonzi to be the reason behind Letsike’s determination to hold MacG accountable… pic.twitter.com/Fo1KPn7cf4

Media personality, Ntsiki Mazwai also weighed in on the matter.
The way MacG is reckless , he is going to ruin it for all podcasters when government steps in.
Can he pls just stop insulting and demeaning women. It’s not that hard. He just needs to put away his loser energy.
