South African musician L’vovo Derrango spoke out after suffering a minor stroke.

The renowned musician was recently admitted to hospital after he suffered a stroke during a performance in Ndwedwe, KwaZulu-Natal.

According to TshisaLIVE, the musician had recalled the moment he was wrapping up his performance in Ndwedwe, KwaZulu-Natal, he told the publication that he felt dizzy and lost feeling on the left side of his body.

“ I was kept in hospital for so long because my blood pressure was too high so they had to stabilise it, but I am feeling much better,” he told the publication.

The musician also told the publication that he learnt to look after his body.

“When we work we tend to eat the wrong food on the streets. What I’ve learnt from this is to take care of myself and my body, not to overwork and to maintain a healthy diet.”
