Lusanda Mbane sets the festive mood in traditional attire

One thing that will captivate you about Lusanda besides her spectacular acting performances is her love for traditional attire and how she flaunts it.

The Umhlobo Wenene radio host is quite a versatile character, this can be said about both her career within the entertainment industry and her dress sense.

Lusanda is a South African actress best known for her role on the eTV telenovela Scandal, where she portrayed the character of Boniswa Langa. She has also featured on a lot more enjoyed local series such as Isibaya, Muvhango, Smoke and Mirrors and 1802: Love Defies Time. 

The entrepreneur and international speaker has quite an appealing social media platform as it reflects upon the many roles that she fulfills within the star-studded industry.

For those who are familiar with her Instagram, then you will know that she is one to effortlessly rock a formal wear, jeans, athleisure and her ever so breathtaking traditional wear.

In a recant post, the star took to Instagram to share the beauty of a modern design of uMbhaco – a traditional IsiXhosa elegant regalia that is often accompanied by bead work.

With the festive season being the most highly anticipated and vibrant within the Xhosa culture. Xhosa people often put their best food forward in embracing their culture as they gather and gear in their traditional clothes and sing traditional songs.

Showcasing a video of umXhentso – Xhosa traditional dancing –   she said “AbaNTU. IsiNTU. KwaNTU. ???.”
