Umhlobo Wenene and Tru FM business manager and singer Loyiso Bala took to his social media to share the special bond he has with his last-born brother Phelo Bala.

The Balas are known for their love of family, something that was evident on their debut reality TV show The Bala Family. Just like any other family, they also faced some challenges but the love and respect for each other outshone it all.

Phelo had in one of the reality show’s episodes mentioned that bhuti Loyiso, as he calls him, was more than just a brother to him, adding that he was a father figure.

Patient and fond of his brother who shares different spiritual beliefs from him as he is a born-again Christian while Phelo is a sangoma, Loyiso is still supportive of some of the rituals Phelo performs.

Taking to his Instagram to share content on the two of them at the airport, the Wrong For You singer captioned his post:

“My brother is not just family by blood; he’s my brother in arms through life’s battles?‍?.”

Upon seeing Loyiso’s post, Phelo responded:

“Love you to the moon and back big bro! Forever and always! You’ve gone way over and beyond for me. Been so patient and consistent. Such a pleasure to be around, I never feel empty❤️.”

Phelo is also not shy to share his love and appreciation for his older brother. On Loyiso’s birthday a few weeks ago, Phelo shared a photo of the two of them, captioning it:

“Happiest birthday to my big bro @loyisobala. Mentor, wiseman and genuine soul. My love for you has no boundaries and this makes it so much better knowing for sure that it’s reciprocated. I thank God for your existence bhut’ wam?♥️.”
