Basetsana and Romeo Kumalo are living proof that love only improves with time. This power couple recently celebrated 24 years of marriage, reminding us that a strong marriage can endure the test of time, and celebrity life’s inevitable obstacles.
As they celebrate their 24th wedding anniversary, Basetsana shared a heartfelt shout-out on social media, expressing her gratitude for the journey she shares with her husband. She revealed that being by his side is one of her greatest joys, adding that his devotion to her and their children is lovely to witness. “You anchor us and with you, we know we are safe.”
In the below Instagram post, Basetsana shared a beautiful video of their moments together, in particular, their wedding day which evidently looked like a joyous celebration for the love birds.
“You are my great inspiration, my rock, always shielding me from the storm, protecting me, rooting for me, laughing at my lame jokes,” she adds.
She continues to write, “Thank you for your unwavering and consistent love. May the Lord bless you and keep you and grant you a long life. I love you Sthandwa sam.”

As they also approach their 25th wedding anniversary, a quarter of a century, if I may be so bold to add, Basetsana and Romeo encourages us to cultivate a love that deepens over time.
