MTV Africa has announced that it will showcase the lives of some of South Africa’s favorite Hip Hop artists with the launch of the Love & Hip Hop South Africa later in the month of February.
MTV Africa took to their Instagram to announce the premiere date and time of the show. The South African artists are set to be in the spotlight with Love & Hip Hop SA on the 27th of February on MTV Africa, DStv Channel 130 at 21:30 PM South African time.

The channel also announced the cast that will joining the Love and Hip Hop SA franchise. Recording artist and record producer Da L.E.S aka ‘The North God’ will be part of the show alongside award winning Hip-hop star Gigi Lamayne, the Shaza hit-maker Yanga Chief will join the crew too. South African Music award winner for Best Hip Hop Album in 2018 Shane Eagle and Motswako Hip Hop First Lady Fifi Cooper will also be part of the show. The reality show will also have other Hip Hop familiar faces like J Molley and Money Badoo.
The Megacy, the late AKAs fans took to the comments section to express how much AKA would be perfect for the show.
