South African media personality and musician Londiwe Zulu, popularly known as Londie London, has opened up about the emotional challenges she faced during her pregnancies, revealing that she often felt completely alone during one of the most vulnerable periods of her life.

“I was alone” — a painful reflection on pregnancies

Speaking candidly in a snippet of her new reality show, Life with Londie London, the star shared that both pregnancies were marked by emotional isolation and a lack of support. The star admitted that she had to navigate motherhood largely on her own, describing the experience as deeply painful and overwhelming at times.

Struggles behind the spotlight

While Londie is often seen living a glamorous lifestyle on social media, she revealed that her personal reality was far from perfect. She explained that behind the curated images and public appearances was a woman dealing with emotional hardship, loneliness, and the pressures of becoming a mother without consistent support.

Londie also reflected on the difficulties she experienced within her relationship at the time, suggesting that her marriage felt emotionally distant. Her comments have reignited public discussion about the realities many women face in relationships that appear stable from the outside.

“I’m blessed to have my kids, but man, it took a lot to get here. I was alone in both pregnancies. I’ve never experienced baby daddy being there,” she said.

Londie revealed that she attended medical appointments and scans by herself and claimed the father of her children was absent even after she gave birth.

“Even with all my scans, I was alone. He never even came to the hospital after giving birth. Both pregnancies, not just one. It hasn’t been easy because they look like their dad. I never imagined myself to be a single parent.

“There was no love, it was very cold, you know, Hillcrest is always cold, but at that house it was always minus 20 degrees,” said Londie.

Following her revelations, many social media users expressed sympathy and support, praising her for speaking openly about a sensitive and personal experience. Others highlighted how her story reflects the silent struggles many women go through during pregnancy and early motherhood.
