Homba, from Gonubie in East London, claimed the top spot on 29 October after competing against thousands of hopefuls who auditioned for the opportunity to join the iconic television show.
Her victory has sparked excitement online, with viewers celebrating her achievement and congratulating her on securing the presenting opportunity.

Sports content creator brings warmth and charisma
A sports content creator, Homba holds a degree in Human Movement Science. She also has roots in rural Dutywa, in the Eastern Cape, bringing a background that reflects the diversity of South African stories.
Her warmth, charisma and personality reportedly helped her stand out during the competition, impressing those involved in the search.
Her achievement also comes after her sister, Qhawekazi Mazaleni, made headlines when she was crowned Miss South Africa 2025.
Homba’s win has brought another moment of celebration for the family, with both sisters achieving significant milestones in the public eye.

Homba Mazaleni joins the Top Billing team
