Letoya Makhene makes a musical comeback after enduring a rough patch

After a hiatus from the music industry, former Isidingo and Generations: The Legacy actress Letoya Makhene is back and ready to ready to entertain some of her most devoted followers with several new tracks.

The prominent actress recently shared a list of new songs at a listening session for her new single where she officially announced that she will be making some new music after signing with a new record label, Ntethe Global Effect.

In an interview with Sunday World she also revealed that she was unable to work on music as much as she would have wanted to due to having a busy schedule but is confident that it is all now a thing of the past as she joined Ntethe Global Effect, who was introduced to her by good friend, Masechaba Khumalo.

“Our journey almost didn’t begin because of this dark place that I was in at the time, but Ntethe Global Effect and Masechaba Media have kind of been by my side and soothing me through one of the deepest processes in my life, and the healing has been through music,” she said.

The above-mentioned entertainment source reports that Letoya has been in quite a dark time in recent months this comes after the singer her wife Lebohang Polumo is said to have been going through a separation. This comes with allegations of abuse and assault.

She further highlighted that she is trying to get through a process of healing, but that her ex, Lebohang was making matters difficult.

“It’s unfortunate that is the hole I am in. My perpetrator feels like they are not going to stop. It makes complete healing so difficult,” she said.

Meanwhile, in a statement released to the news and entertainment publication TshisaLive last week, Lebo revealed that she was at peace with the divorce.

“I’ve concluded it’s time to move on and pick up the pieces of what’s left to try to live the most joyful and satisfied life imaginable,” the statement read.
