Well-known actress Letoya Makhene has recently celebrated a milestone birthday!

Taking to social media in an Instagram post, she shared pictures of what life was like now that she entered a new chapter of her life.

In one of her posts, she wrote:

“Life really does begin at 40!”

The image shows her peacefully absorbing the peace of her surroundings as a sign of contentment.

However, it was her follow-up post that was accompanied by an encryption message that later captured her follower’s attention.

“This is to all of us that were called fakes, 40 never felt this good!” is what she captioned.

This has raised the eyebrows of many social media followers, many of whom assumed that this was a message to her former spouse Lebo Keswa.

The former happy weds have been involved in a messy divorce in recent months and while both have highlighted that they wish to move on, they have continued to throw shade at one another in the interviews they have done.

Earlier this year Letoya announced that she would be making her musical comeback after signing with a brand-new record label, Ntethe Global Effect.

At the time, told the news and entertainment publication Sunday World that she was on the path of healing but that her ex was making her progress extremely difficult.

“It’s unfortunate that is the hole I am in. My perpetrator feels like they are not going to stop. It makes complete healing so difficult,” she said.

In another interview with TshisaLive, she previously also highlighted how she was working hard to overcome the past.

“I’ve concluded it’s time to move on and pick up the pieces of what’s left to try to live the most joyful and satisfied life imaginable.”
