It seems like the light at the end of the tunnel is shining brighter, this is after the grieving mother of Kaone Peka; Lesego Pase disclosed that an official permit to exhume the body of her son has been granted.

Lesego has been keeping netizens in the loop with updates on what happened surrounding Kaone’s death. According to Lesego, the 2-year-old boy who was under the care of his father, Oberon Ndhuna drowned in the pool and subsequently died.

The distraught Lesego suspected foul play surrounding the death of her son and the quick burial in her absence, she then opted to apply for a permit to exhume Kaone’s body and hopefully get the answers she needs.

Taking to her Instagram story, Lesego shared the ups and downs of the application, and eventually being granted the permit.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter) a blog named Salty Unmasked shared screenshots of the stories, with a caption that read: “An official permit for Kaone’s body to be exhumed has been issued.”

On the stories, Lesego announced that the official permit had been issued. She thanked everyone who stood with her in her trying time. She showed gratitude to TikTok and X users, local blogs and Women For Change for demanding Justice for baby Kaone.

Update: @lesegopase extends gratitude & is thankful for the contributions which helped her get legal reps.
