Skeem Saam viewers will be pleased to learn that actor, Lesego Marakalla will return to the soap to reprise her role of Rachel Kunutu, after a four year hiatus.

Rachel will return on the dusty streets of Turfloop on the 13th of June after her relocation. The true pioneer of soft life is known for being mischievous, the soap reckons that she has not changed as they promise to end the 13th season with a dynamite. The viewers are promised a gripping storyline surrounding Rachel’s return. It is also hinted that she may have mixed with the wrong crowd while she was away.

Before she left Turf, Rachel stole money from her husband, the extravagant businessman, Marothi Maphuthuma (Played by Macks Senatla SaGa Papo). The viewers will be in for a treat, as they will navigate how Marothi will react when he sees his dynamite, as he passionately called her when she returns.

“It feels good to be back. It’s not only about me, but also about my supporters who appreciate my craft. They’ve been asking me when I’ll be returning to SkeemSaam, and I’m happy to say they’ll see me back on screen as Rachel very soon,” said Lesego.
