Lerato Kganyago opens up about stalker ordeal

by Silindokuhle Booi

Radio personality Lerato Kganyago is urging everyone to prioritise their safety after a harrowing experience of being stalked.

The star recently took to her Instagram stories to share the disturbing details of her ordeal. According to Lerato, she had been noticing that she was being followed for a while, and her latest encounter with the stalkers was particularly unsettling.

She revealed that she had deliberately walked into a restaurant, knowing that the stalkers would follow her. The staff at the restaurant alerted her that the men were asking about her and watching her every move. She documented the entire experience, taking pictures of the men and sharing them with close friends and family.

In a bold move, the media personality confronted the men, but she advises against this approach. What was most shocking about the incident was Lerato’s allegation that a police officer was involved in the stalking. She claimed to have filmed the officer who failed to intervene during the altercation, only walking away when he realised she was recording them.

Despite taking a bold stance, Lerato warns others not to follow her example. She emphasises the importance of prioritising one’s safety and seeking help when needed. Her experience serves as a reminder that stalking is a serious issue that requires attention and action.

Her ordeal is also a disturbing reminder of the danger that looms on a daily basis. Her bravery in sharing her experience and documenting the incident is commendable. As she navigates this challenging situation, her priority remains her safety, and she urges others to do the same.
