Leon Schuster has shared an update regarding his health.

The beloved comedian is on the road to recovery following a serious back operation that landed him in hospital for several weeks. He shared a health update with his fans on his Facebook account.

In the Facebook post, Leon Schuster shared the news that he had been discharged from a local hospital. The actor had sustained injuries while filming Mr Bones 3, resulting in a back operation.

While the actor is happy to be home, he is annoyed at having to take it easy.

Thanking South Africans for their support, he shared: “I’ve been discharged and back home after three weeks! What a blissful feeling!”

Leon Schuster has also released a new song called Bokmasjien, which was released last month ahead of the Springboks stint and the Rugby World Cup in France from 8 September to 28 October. South Africa will play their first match against Scotland on 10 September, according to The South African.

While he is still recovering from the major back operation, it didn’t stop him from promoting the track.

When reminding his fans of the song, he said: “When I hear it, I just want to jump up and dance, but then I break my back, my knees, my ankles, and all kinds of stuff.”

The song is currently available to listen on all major streaming platforms.

This isn’t the only song released this year dedicated to the Springboks. Sister Bethina hitmaker Mgarimbe recently released his catchy track Amabokoboko or Sister Bokkina.

You can listen to both songs below.
