Legendary Clementine Mosimane joins ‘Smoke and Mirrors’

South African actress Clementine Mosimane is set to join the cast of Smoke and Mirrors in a new role. Clementine will portray Celia, the mother of Petunia, played by Kgaugelo Monama.

According to The South African, Celia will make a significant entrance as she insists on visiting her daughter in Emnyameni to meet Petunia’s boyfriend, Sakhile, portrayed by Siya Raymond Sepotokelo.

The City Celeb publication states that Clementine began her acting career in 1991, taking on small roles and extras in both television series and films. She first captured national attention with her acclaimed portrayal of Thandi Mazwai in the South African drama series Soul City, which aired from 1994 to 2003.

Another standout role in Clementine’s career was Mama Rose Tladi in the popular series The Wild, which ran from 2011 to 2013.

The above-mentioned publication further states that the actress also took on the role of Ruth Gumede in the South African drama Gold Diggers, which aired on E.tv from 2015 to 2016.

Beyond her leading roles, Clementine has appeared on numerous South African television series which she has guest-starred including, The Estate,  Nikiwe, Yizo Yizo, Intersexions, Isibaya, Clean Break, eKasi: Our Stories, Ngempela, Rhythm City, Mzansi Love, and Netflix’s series How to Ruin Christmas.
