Leeroy denies assault, claims Mihlali made 78 calls and threatened him

by Limpho Nonkonyane

It definitely ended in tears, as businessman Leeroy Sidambe set the record straight amidst gender-based violence accusations made by his beauty influencer girlfriend, Mihali Ndamase.

The businessman who had been romantically linked to the influencer after leaving his ex-wife Mary-Jane Sidambe has been under public scrutiny after Mihali shared pictures of her bruises with the caption, “Thank you angel @leeroysidambe.” The now deleted post on Instagram stories caused many users to allude to the fact that she was being abused by the businessman and that her fall last year could have been the cause of that.

Despite breaking up last October, many X (formerly known as Twitter) users were shocked that the couple had gotten back together after Leeroy had denied those claims just two months ago.

Taking to Instagram, Leeroy released a statement where he detailed what happened that night Mihlali was allegedly ‘assaulted’. Leeroy explained that Mihlali had called him about 78 times before asking his son to open the gate for her, adding that, she later went into the kitchen to get a knife which he claims was to threaten him.

He states, “Mihlali Ndamase then came to my bedroom as I was asleep to confront me for being unfaithful and attempted to stab me of which I then protected myself by pushing her away from me resulting in her sustaining her injuries as she made contact with the wall. My son then came to my rescue after hearing me shouting and pleading for Mihlali not to kill me.”

“I would like to inform you all that Mihlali has a long history of physically assaulting me and damaging my property, especially when she is under the influence of substances I cannot name. It is important to note that there is a plethora of witnesses, my children and bystanders who can attest to me not ever laying a hand on her during/after any altercations but always deflecting and defending myself accordingly.”

An X user posted the statement and Leeroy’s call log which shows the calls made by the influencer. The user also added a snippet from controversial blogger Musa Khawala’s YouTube channel where he spoke about Mihali’s aggressive behaviour.

Since this revelation, online users have been reacting to the 78 calls and also questioning the unknown substances the influencer was allegedly on as per reports by Leeroy.

I’m so messed up for saying this but I miss Musa ?????????
