The Lion King composer and producer Lebohang ‘Lebo M’ Morake has once again found himself making headlines. This time, it was reported that the media personality will be heading to the CCMA Towers in Pretoria for the unfair dismissal of Spho Dlamini, the friend of Lebo M’s estranged wife Pretty Samuels-Morake.

ZiMoja reports that Spho worked for Lebo M in the finance department at Lebo M Productions. In papers filled out at the Commission for Conciliation Mediation, and Arbitration (CCMA) seen by the aforementioned publication, Lebo M has allegedly “unfairly” fired Spho after he engaged in an argument with Pretty. A source claims that Lebo M fired Spho after someone shared with him that she was allegedly swindling the company funds. The source also alleged that the friends were in cahoots when Pretty was using Lebo M’s signature without his permission.

The source further added that Lebo M is unfazed by the recent allegations made against him. “He will pay her off if it means getting rid of her. He also wants to get rid of his wife since he has instituted divorce proceedings against her,” adds the source.

Lebo M publicly confirmed his plans to divorce Pretty as well as his reasons via a statement.

A portion of the statement read, “At this stage, I need peace of mind because 2024 is a big year for me, with exciting projects lined up.”
