Is Lebo M married again? What we know about his relationship with Nomoya Dube

Is Lebo M married again? What we know about his relationship with Nomoya Dube

When it comes to love and headlines, Lebo M has never been one to do things quietly.

This week, social media timelines lit up with speculation that the legendary composer may have tied the knot, again. According to online chatter, the woman at the centre of it all is recording artist Nomoya Refiloe Dube, also known as Moya.

But before we start counting wedding rings, here’s what we actually know.

The posts that sparked the frenzy

It started the way most celebrity rumours do in 2026, with photos.

Snaps of Lebo M and Nomoya together began circulating online. Travel pictures. Coordinated outfits. Intimate, soft-lit moments that suggested more than just a professional connection.

Within hours, the comments section had turned into a virtual lobola negotiation.

“Wife number five?” some joked.
“Love really lives here,” others celebrated.

South Africans love a good romance plot twist, especially when it involves one of our most iconic musical exports.

Who is Nomoya Dube?

Nomoya Refiloe Dube, known as Moya, is a South African recording artist carving out her own space in the music world. Reports suggest she and Lebo M first met in the United States while she was navigating her music journey.

One source described her as “pleasant, gorgeous and stranded in LA” during a transitional time in her life, with Lebo M stepping in as support.

It’s a narrative straight out of a movie soundtrack. And if anyone knows about cinematic love arcs, it’s Lebo M.

A love life that has never been quiet

To understand why fans were quick to believe the rumours, you have to look at history.

Lebo M’s romantic life has unfolded very publicly over the years. He was previously married to Viveca Gipson, later to Nandi Ndlovu, and had a long, dramatic on-and-off relationship with Angela Ngani-Casara.

More recently, his 2022 marriage to Pretty Samuels ended in a very public legal dispute — one that even involved a grand piano reportedly worth hundreds of thousands of rands.

There was also a brief engagement to Malefu Ntsala, which lasted less than four months before quietly dissolving.

So when whispers of a “new wife” surfaced, many simply shrugged and said: “It tracks.”

Is there a fifth marriage?

Here’s the reality: there is no confirmed marriage.

Despite the viral posts and congratulatory messages, neither Lebo M nor Nomoya Dube has officially announced a wedding. At this stage, everything remains speculation fuelled by social media sightings.

But in a country where celebrity relationships play out like primetime drama, silence often speaks just as loudly.

Why South Africa is so invested

Lebo M isn’t just another celebrity. He’s musical royalty, a composer whose work has travelled far beyond our borders, blending gospel roots with global cinematic sound. For many South Africans, he represents excellence on the world stage.

That’s why his personal life fascinates the public. There’s admiration, yes, but also curiosity about how someone so disciplined musically navigates love with such unpredictability.

On social media, reactions range from playful teasing to genuine support. Some fans applaud him for “believing in love no matter what.” Others question whether high-profile romance and lasting stability can truly coexist.

In true Mzansi fashion, the memes are already working overtime.

A fresh perspective

Perhaps the real story isn’t whether there’s a fifth marriage certificate.

Maybe it’s about how public figures navigate companionship under constant scrutiny. In the age of Instagram, even a dinner photo can become a national headline.

What’s clear is this: Lebo M continues to live boldly — in music and in love. And whether this chapter with Nomoya Dube ends in wedding bells or simply remains a beautiful season, South Africa will be watching.

For now, we wait for confirmation.

Until then, the timeline will keep speculating and refreshing.
