Lebo M’s company Lebo M Productions has issued an official statement stating that he has filed for divorce from his estranged wife Pretty Samuels.

Since the divorce news broke, Lebo shared his unhappiness in Pretty’s refusal to execute affidavits on his electronic signatures and an affidavit stating under oath that she has not taken out policies that he is unaware of that would see her benefit upon his death.

In the new statement, Lebo added:

“I need peace of mind because 2024 is a big year for me, with exciting projects lined up. More details about the big year ahead for me will be revealed.”

Lebo M’s attorney Brian Msimeki also confirmed that while they had issued summons, the sheriff’s office was yet to deliver them to Pretty.

In an interview recording provided by TshisaLIVE, Pretty, who is currently at her mother’s house in KZN, shared that she had gone home to get her family to set a meeting with the Morakes in order to try and fix their marital issues. She also added that she stayed for some time as she was still waiting for her elders to set a date.

“I am a wife, we have cars. I was in a car accident about three weeks ago in the other car I drive, so I am driving the other Mercedes-Benz. I know as a wife I’ve got rights and I haven’t received any summons or anything to return the car. I’m not sure why such things are going to the papers. My phone is always on.”

Pretty also added that when she leaves her mother’s place, she will be going to her marital home in Johannesburg.

She also stated that she has no intentions to divorce her husband, adding that even if summons are sent, that doesn’t mean there will be a divorce.
