‘Leave Mamkhize alone,’ internet lambasts Carte Blanche’s exposé on Shauwn Mkhize

A video of Carte Blanche an interview with businesswoman and reality TV star Shawn Mkhize made it to the internet, where the investigative channel grilled the mother of one for her past criminal offences that date back as far as 2005.

The interview which took place at the Carte Blanche’s offices saw the Kwa Ma’Mkhize reality TV star arriving with an entourage that included her lawyers.

To break the ice, the show host asked Shauwn how would she describe herself, to which she responded:

“I don’t need to describe myself to anyone, I will never entertain the noise of the world. I live in my own world, with my own rules.”

Explaining that she didn’t chose to be born by political stalwarts, she added:

“Why can’t people see me as a young black woman, who has worked very hard, who has pushed boundaries, who has opened doors and broken the walls?’

She later denied that she was convicted of any crime adding that it was the company that was convicted but not herself.

When shown that in her 2012 bail application for her tax invasion case she stipulated she had a previous conviction in 2005 MaMkhize refused to further go into those details saying she was not a lawyer.

More added:

Bunch of jealous white people against 1 successful black woman. Who made it without a sin? He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone.
All rich white people became rich white privilege. That privileges came with big crime.

Another user refused to let her race back something she felt wasn’t right commenting:

I am black I want to put this here we mustn’t pull the race card even though we are guilty let the law takes its course first than we can talk if we continue like this there will be no justice in this country
