With a music career that has brought her much success, the award-winning amapiano star, Lady Du is living proof that with the right determination and self-belief, one can achieve anything one sets their mind to.
Recently, the musician whose real name is Duduzile Ngwenya, received the applause of many of her social media followers after she took to Instagram to announce the opening of her brand-new beauty business called Wawa La Beauty.
Taking to Instagram she shared a picture of her new establishment along with the caption: “Round two, Wawa La Beauty 2 opening soon.”
“I’m officially broke,” she jokingly concluded the caption.

While many entered the comments congratulating her on her new venture, others took this as an opportunity to seek employment.
“Lady Du, my contract is ending in September bathulile abelungu ndaba zokuThatha permanent (employers are quite regarding permanent employment)… I will be back job hunting again. I have no experience ngesalon but I am willing to be a cleaner as long as ngine salary nje (as long as I just have a salary),” wrote one user.
Another asked: “Have you filled all the vacancies?”
According to the news and entertainment publication, The South African, Lady Du is no stranger to the beauty industry. In fact, it is reported that she holds multiple qualifications in somatology, after having travelled to numerous countries as a somatologist on a cruise ship before her rise to fame.
Besides her beauty business, she is also a proud author of the book Fame or Business and owns her own construction company.
