Kylie Jenner Drops “Fourth Strike”: Reality Star Turns Pop Collaborator

by Zaghrah Anthony

Kylie Jenner Hits the Music Scene with “Fourth Strike”

Move over, makeup launches, Kylie Jenner is singing now. The 28-year-old mogul, famously known as King Kylie, has officially stepped into the music world with her debut single, “Fourth Strike”, a collaboration with pop duo Terror Jr.

The song, released on Monday, October 13, arrives alongside the celebration of the 10th anniversary of her iconic King Kylie makeup era, a period marked by bold looks and boundary-pushing branding. But this time, the spotlight isn’t just on cosmetics; it’s on her voice.

From Rumors to Reality

Fans have been speculating about Jenner’s musical abilities for years. Back in 2016, she partnered with Terror Jr for “3 Strikes”, a song featured in a Kylie Cosmetics lip gloss ad, sparking rumors that she had actually sung the track. “It wasn’t me (wish it was),” Kylie clarified on Instagram, sharing behind-the-scenes moments from the recording of “Fourth Strike.”

Now, a decade later, those rumors are reality: Jenner’s voice is front and center on her new track. Her verse, dripping with sultry confidence, includes lines like:

“One strike, two strike, let me get the mood right / I just wanna tell you, I’m sorry… Cross the line, I might do it again… King Kylie.”

Fans on social media have been buzzing, praising her vocal debut and celebrating the clever nod to her previous music history. Some even see it as the start of a fresh, pop-driven chapter for the reality TV star turned mogul.

Busy, Bold, and Unstoppable

Kylie isn’t stopping at music. She recently made her acting debut in “The Moment”, starring alongside Charli XCX in a story exploring the glitzy, high-pressure world of fame and the music industry.

Her ventures echo a pattern seen in the Kar-Jenner clan. Sister Kim Kardashian, for example, is diving deep into acting, with credits in “American Horror Story: Delicate” and the upcoming Disney+ drama “All’s Fair.” Clearly, the family isn’t just dominating business, they’re claiming entertainment too.

What This Means for Kylie Fans

“Fourth Strike” isn’t just a song, it’s a statement. It signals Kylie’s evolution from beauty entrepreneur to a multifaceted pop culture figure, blending music, fashion, and social media savvy. For South African fans following global celebrity trends, it’s another reminder of how reality TV stars are reshaping what it means to be an influencer in the 21st century.

Whether she’ll become a chart-topping pop sensation remains to be seen, but for now, Kylie Jenner’s first musical strike has landed—and it’s one fans won’t forget.
