The king of the Swati nation,  King Mswati III shocked internet users when he recently attended the inauguration of the seventh democratic president of South Africa, President Cyril Ramaphosa wearing a Jacob & Co Brilliant Skeleton Baquette Tourbillon Ruby timepiece valued at $900 000, converted into rands at R16 million.

This Jacob & Co timepiece was created in 2017, even though it was initially made for females, it was made versatile.

The timepiece is a three-dimensional creation, exclusively selected by timepiece specialists, it is shaped like a pebble and, “covered in it gems, with no prongs, no metal appearing that would break the continuous array of gems.”

It also boosts, “white diamonds, rubies, blue, yellow, pink or orange sapphires and tsavorites. This Brilliant Skeleton Baguette that only works with the invisible setting technique is said to be Jacob & Co.’s ultimate expression of femininity.

Pictures of King Mswati III wearing his expensive timepiece started circulating on the internet shocking many who had no idea that the king to citizens of a little over a million was living a lavish lifestyle.

User @TotsDiBillion shared the watch and the king wearing it on X (former Twitter)
