One of the country’s most widely respected actresses Kim Cloete will soon make Etv her new home after getting the nod to make her first appearance in popular soapie Scandal.

Kim has been part of the entertainment industry for more than two decades and has cemented herself as a standout actress over the years after appearing in several iconic shows including 7 de Laan, Isidingo, 90 Plein Street and several others.

Aside from her acting journey she is also a confident television presenter, master of ceremonies coordinator as well as a successful businesswoman and philanthropist.

In her latest venture she will be portraying the role of Kimberly Smith the loving mom of Simone.

With Simone (played by Danica Jones) going through a rough patch at the moment Kimberly finds herself focused on saving her daughter from herself.

Speaking to news publication Sunday World, Kim shared that she is ecstatic to once again work with the Ochre Media team.

“I am happy to be reunited with Sanele Zulu (series producer) and Sthembiso Mathenjwa (director).

“They were the first directors I worked with when I started my career, that has been one of the highlights. And also, working with Danica Jones so closely has been fun.”

“I love the character and the integral personality that Kimberly Smith has. She makes me very … happy to occupy and to see where her story ends,” she said.

In recent weeks the well-known actress has provided her fans with a few sneak pics to life behind her brand-new set, and by the looks of it seems to be having an amazing time.
