Media personality Khanyisile Khanyi Mbau has recently announced that her long-term relationship with her boyfriend, Zimbabwean businessman Terrence Kudzai Mushonga has come to an end.

Taking to her socials to confirm the breakup, the former Muvhango actress said in her poignant statement: “He was a good guy but did some bad things. He tried everything he could to make it up to me. I did most of the grieving while we were together. I finally got the courage to leave. And of course, I wish him the best,” she penned.

This is not the first relationship strife this duo has had, back in 2021 the couple made headlines when Khanyi left Kudzai in Dubai and came back home to South Africa, sparking a clash of opinions from internet users.

At the time, Kudzai took to his Instagram page to express his heartbreak and revealed that they argued before she left him. He also claimed at the time, he felt neglected by Khanyi. “We got into an argument and babe it’s like you don’t love me and it’s heated. I looked into her eyes and walked away and I’m learning now you should never walk away.”

It was later revealed in a radio interview that Khanyi left the vacation abruptly to protect her mental space. Later, The Wife actress released a single titled Shiy’indoda eDubai about the incident, dedicating it to Kudzai.

The couple reportedly started dating in 2019 and publicly announced their relationship in 2021. Even though they had their fair share of relationship squabbles, it was no secret that the duo was madly in love.

This was noted when the couple tattooed each other’s names, showing their affection for each other on social media.
