With KFM mornings being among some of the top breakfast shows in the city, she later received an overflow of good luck messages and well wishes from listeners and industry colleagues alike.

More recently she reflected on the journey in one of her Instagram posts where she thanked her family for their unwavering support and planning her baby shower on the spur of the moment.

“My baby shower was EVERYTHING I didn’t know I wanted and needed.

“My mother insisted that I have one. Robin (my cousin, and the closest person I have to a sister) was quick to assist.

“We celebrated at my parents’ place in Stellenbosch, a month ago. (Note to self: Maybe don’t wait till you’re 34 weeks pregnant, especially if you’re carrying twins!)

“I’m incredibly grateful for my tribe. Thank you for showing up for me and my growing family. Thank you for your love and prayers. I love you,” she wrote.
