Kelly Khumalo misses flight, internet reacts: ‘We don’t care!

by Samantha Mochele

The Empini hitmaker Kelly Khumalo, found herself in a storm of criticism after  taking to social media to unleash a fiery rant against an airline after missing her flight.

In a now-viral video, the singer accused the airline of poor communication, claiming that their disorganisation caused her to miss her flight. But instead of rallying behind her, mzansi had little sympathy, with many responding to her plea with cold reactions.

The video posted by X user @Bongi12388256, shows a frustrated Kelly detailing her experience. She accused ComAirCen of failing to announce the departure time of her flight and not updating the information on any boards.

However, Kelly’s attempt to turn her inconvenience into a public campaign for a boycott fell flat. The backlash was harsh. Comments ranged from mockery to outright disapproval.

So Kelly Khumalo thinks South Africans sympathise with her ? South Africans will buy flowers for this airline to annoy her. South Africans hate Kelly Khumalo.
