Kay Sibiya and his partner celebrate lobola negotiations

Actor and DJ Khumbulani Kay Sibiya and his longtime partner Judie Kama have recently moved their relationship to the next level with a successful lobola celebration ceremony.

Kay Sibiya is known for the characters he portrayed on Imbewu: The Seed, Uzalo, Generations: The Legacy and Umjolo: The Gone Girl recently took to his Instagram page to share pictures from their intimate lobola ceremony, with a caption that read: “Bafikile omalume, amalobolo.”

On the dowry celebration pictures captured by Taff Meda, Judie dons a white boob-tube traditional dress with black details from DejaVu clothing’s collection.

Instagram users took to the comment section to congratulate the couple.

Actress, Natasha Thahane said, “God is good! Congratulations sis.”

Another user said: “The Sibiyas, what a beautiful makoti you are.”

While choreographer and actress, Bontle Modiselle said: “Congratulations beautiful family.”

The couple had their fair share of love tribulations in 2020, which led them to release a statement letting people know that they have parted ways. However, love conquered, and the love birds found their way to each other.

The thespian has also been cast on Netflix’s Umjolo: The Gone Girl alongside Gugu Gumede, Tyson Matonsi and Ntando Menzi Ncube. The movie is set against the backdrop of four women whose love lives intersect at a Valentine’s Day wedding none of them will soon forget.
