Katlego Ranaka’s funeral arrangements revealed

Veteran actress Manaka Ranaka’s eldest daughter, Katlego Ranaka’s funeral service will be held on Saturday, the 1st of February at Sam Salvador Catholic Church, from 8 am to 11 am, and later be buried at South Park cemetery.

This announcement was shared by Manaka on her Instagram page, she also revealed that the family requests the attendees to observe the black and baby blue theme in honour of Katlego’s wishes and in celebration of her life.

Katlego fondly known as KG by those who were close to her passed away last week Thursday, she is survived by her mother Manaka, her siblings and her son. Like her mother who is known for the characters she played on Stokvel, Generations: The Legacy and more, KG was also into arts as she appeared briefly on Rhythm City.

According to the announcement issued by the Ranaka’s, KG will be remembered in a memorial service on Thursday, the 30th of January at Sam Salvador Catholic Church; from 2 pm to 4 pm. On Friday evening a candlelight tap and clap ceremony will be held to honour her memory at Leondale, where attendees have been requested to bring their own candles.

The Ranaka family first announced KG’s death in a post shared by Thandokuhle Ranaka, that read: “It is with heavy hearts that we share the sorrowful news of the passing of our cherished Katlego ‘KG’ Ranaka. The Ranaka family humbly requests your prayers and respect for their privacy during this profoundly challenging time.”
