The Kaizer Chiefs midfielder, Siyethemba Sithebe may have endured a difficult season at the Glamour Boys having made only nine appearances in the campaign, as a light at the end of the tunnel he prepares to welcome a second baby this month.

The chiefs star took to his Instagram page to share a wholesome maternity photoshoot that was captured with his pregnant wife, Samantha Khoza and their daughter Blue who held a board with a message that read: “Promoted to big sister May 2024.”

The young family followed a theme that saw them wear matching beige-coloured garments to styling in white t-shirts and blue denim jeans.

Instagram users congratulated Siyethemba in the comment section of this post:

One user said: “Huge congratulations champ, all the best with the journey ahead.”

Another user jokingly said: “We must sue you for looking like the legend Shabba (Siphiwe Tshabalala; former Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana player). I nearly had a heart attack.”

While another one said: “Congratulations bhuda (brother)… Happy family…Happy life.”

The former Amazulu player only returned to action in March after a long injury layoff that kept him out of the games since August 2023.  The dreadlocked baller’s future at the club remains unclear, as his contract expires next month after he joined Amakhosi in 2022 from Amazulu.

In other news, Kaizer Chiefs announced that Siyethemba’s teammate; Itumeleng Khune is set to be honoured ahead of the team’s final home match of the season.
