It wouldn’t be a proper festive season for the amapiano lovers if the amapiano king Kabelo Motha, professionally known as Kabza De Small, wasn’t dropping any music this December.

The South African DJ and producer is releasing a remix of a song from AKA’s latest album, Mass Country.

The late rapper AKA (born Kiernan Forbes) is the true definition of “gone but never forgotten” as his music continues to find success even after his passing.

The Johannesburg-based producer announced that he will be remixing Supa Mega’s hit song Company which is set to drop on Friday, the 8th of December.

Taking to Instagram, Kokota Afrika – a broadcasting and music production company – shared that the artist had been working on the remix for some time.

“The legacy of #supamega lives on as @kabelomotha_ is set to drop the remix to the smash hit Company by @akaworldwide featuring @kddogram ??.”

Social media users were excited to hear the remix as Kabza is known for making hits after hits.

One person said, “He’s probably the only amapiano artist that can do it justice! I trust the remix is ????!”

Another social media user wrote, “This!!!!! It’s going to be insane???.”

Another artist disagreed and said that AKA fought hard for his sound: “I respect bra Kabza but no … he fought so hard to keep his sound pure and not [incorporate] amapiano in it.”
