Julius Malema warns Daliwonga over alleged no show

by Zintle Mdaka

Commander-in-Chief of Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) and revolutionary activist Julius Malema had tongues wagging when he shared a stern warning to musician Daliwonga.

The spat came after Daliwonga, who was booked as a headlined performer at Slageng in Seshego, Polokwane, allegedly failed to pitch. The establishment is owned by Julius’s brother, Tshepo, and is known to have hosted elite artists and personalities.

Taking to his X (formerly Twitter), Julius expressed his frustration to Daliwonga in a tweet saying, “Daliwonga, don’t try me bastard.” While some of the X users were wondering what prompted the tweet, others were curious on why Julius started the sentence with a comma.

, Daliwonga don’t try me bastard!

I’m the first person in my bloodline to see a sentence that starts with a coma https://t.co/rk6dUuT8DK

Controversial blogger Slik Talk also joined the conversation, narrating what happened between Julius and Daliwonga. According to him, Daliwonga was paid a deposit to perform at Slageng, but he did not show up.

HA HA HA HA HA!! 🤣🤣🤣

Daliwonga has not issued a statement, or responded to the allegations.

X users weighed in:

This is the most random tweet I’ve seen in my life https://t.co/xMOzgD9JEB

You’re calling Daliwonga a bastard in front of his millions of fans and you think that is nice coming from a leader?

Lead by example, don’t be a hooligan baba

Daliwonga has millions of people who love and look up to him and you are insulting him in public

You will never be…
