In 2024, music lovers can look forward to new melodic sounds from Mi Casa as frontman J’Something announced that he, and fellow bandmates Dr Duda and Mo-T, are set to release fresh tunes in the new year.

Over the years, the trio have provided the world with smash hits (such as Heavenly Sent, Jika, Turn You On, and These Streets to name a few). So, there is no doubt that what is to come will be any different.

J’Something took to Instagram after the group performed at the Hey Neighbour Festival.  In the post he said:

“I feel like I am starting to really understand not only mine, but OUR ‘WHY’ behind Mi Casa. Time can breed maturity and in my case, I have witnessed a huge sense of growth and understanding behind what I (we) do. It’s so much bigger than our egos, our status, and even our music.”

J’Something (whose real name is Joao da Fonseca) then shared that he believes the above has a lot to do with him pursuing the complex task of being present in as many of the moments that fly through his life.

He added, “It’s when I see your faces, when I feel our energy, when I see the tears in the crowd, the smiles, the joy, and also I find it in the things I cannot physically see but intensely feel, the energy that oozes both from me and from all of you.”

Concluding with splendid news, the singer said, “We are releasing new music in 2024, a lot of it, and we have such big dreams/ambitions, none of it will be possible without you guys. Looking forward to it all. I want to soak up as much of it as possible and live in every second I get gifted together with all of you and the music.”
