South African veteran actor Dr John Kani speaks on starring in Netflix’s Murder Mystery 2 starring alongside Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Enrique Arce. The legendary actor also revealed that he has two more international movies lined up, Daily Sun reported.
The veteran actor is not new to starring in Hollywood films as he’s starred in Black Panther and The Lion King.
While speaking to the Daily Sun the actor shared with the publication that he was shocked after he received a call to star in Netflix’s Murder Mystery 2 alongside Adam Sandler.
“I was surprised years back when I got a call from my agent saying Adam Sandler would like me to join him for Murder Mystery. At the time, I asked, ‘Which Adam?’ and my agent said, ‘Adam the comedian.’ However, I thought I was too serious for a comedy, but I did it anyway and had the greatest of times,” Dr John said while speaking to the publication.
The Lion King actor said they shot the film in various countries such as Montreal, London, Rome, Geneva, and Italy. As for Murder Mystery 2, the actor recalled that he received a call from Adam Sandler himself to notify him that they would be shooting the second film (Murder Mystery 2) in Hawaii, and Paris.
