Media and entertainment company NBCUniversal International Networks has announced the beginning of the production of their local adaptation of E!’s comedy dating show ‘Dating #NoFilter’.
Produced by Brainstorm Entertainment, the series is set to premiere and air exclusively on ‘E!’ later this year. The show will follow a group of singles on a quest for love as they go through a series of blind dates, while some of South Africa’s A-listers provide comedic commentary while watching the hopeful romantics.
Announcing via Instagram that he will be one of the 15-member panel the show will have, is one of South Africa’s biggest names in comedy, Jason Goliath. He will be joined by fellow comedians Okay Wasabi, The funny chef, Nina Hastie and fan favourite Carpo More.
“Announcement! I’ve joined the cast of the South African edition of comedy hit show Dating #NoFilter premiering later this year on E! Africa. I’ll be joined by 14 other comedians & famous faces to bring you UNFILTERED commentary on blind dates,” the comedian writes.
