It seems there is a light at the end of the tunnel for the South African rapper Jesse Mollett popularly known as J Molley who has experienced a spiritual awakening through his viral suicide attempt.

The “Up To” rapper recently took to his Instagram account to share a letter about his recent struggles and his newly found path with his fans and supporters in a post captioned: “Bit of a read, but it could save the next person. I am purely a vessel for God to work through. Praise the almighty Jesus Christ, my lord and saviour. Let your will be done King of Kings. I’m ready.”

In the letter, J Molley shared that he has been battling satanic demons that he was not aware of. However, recently he has been blessed to experience a profound awakening of faith and spirituality.

“Through the grace of God, I have been saved and have started dedicating my life to serving our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.”

The rapper said over the coming months, he will be embarking on a spiritual journey to seek clarity and understanding of his purpose in God’s plan.

“I want to emphasise that this decision is not made lightly nor is it solely for my own benefit. Rather, I see myself as a vessel for the divine will of Jesus Christ. My desire is to surrender completely to His guidance and to follow wherever He may lead me,” read the letter.

Instagram users responded on the post’s comment section.

Kid X (SA rapper) said: “Love and light to you J.”

While another user said: “It was the best decision I made when I surrendered to Jesus Christ, I love this for you.”

Initially, J Molley went live on Instagram and was seen downing a bottle of pills with fizzy drinks. This shocking incident was followed by a post on X (formerly Twitter) pointing at his troubled state of mind.
