Actress Noluthando Ngema has joined the cast of Outlaws, and will be replacing Nirvana Nokwe-Mseleku who played Sihle Biyela.

Noluthando made a name for herself when she played Mbali Dladla on iThonga. Sihle is knwon as a woman who gave up her entire family and community to build a life with her lover, Leruo Tseole, portrayed by Lehlohonolo Mayeza. Joining the Showmax series alongside her are Thandolwethu Zondi who will play Mthunzi Biyela and Mamodibe Ramodibe as Buang.

Outlaws is set against the backdrop of two families who are at war with each other: the Zulu, cattle-farming Biyela clan, and the Basotho, cattle-raiding Ts’eoles. Outlaws is produced by Tshedza Pictures, the powerhouse behind the Showmax record-holders Adulting and Youngins and the International Emmy-nominated The River.

iThonga star Noluthando Ngema has joined the cast of ‘Outlaws’ Season 2 and will be stepping in to replace Nirvana Nokwe as the new Sihle in the upcoming season.

The second season of Outlaws will start streaming on November 17 on Showmax, and on 22 November 2025 on Mzansi Magic.

Speaking to Showmax, Noluthando said she was so shocked – out of excitement, obviously, and her sisters were there too. She remembers screaming at the top of her lungs. It was hard to contain her emotions, but she was extremely happy.

Noluthando shared a few traits she shares with Sihle.

“Well, firstly, she’s absolutely gorgeous. She’s unstoppable. In isiZulu, we’d say ‘unenkani’. And what I love about her stubbornness is that it’s so hard to detect, which makes it easier for her to get away with a lot. Her ambition and stubbornness are definitely common traits we share.
