With the rumours of Bonang Matheba returning to radio, the media mogul has once again shared where she stands on this form of media.

In the past, Bonang had a slot on Metro FM hosting the lifestyle show, The Front Row – a favourite amongst listeners. Last year, fans of the star also thought that she and Kaya 959 host Sizwe Dhlomo would make a great on-air team. However, despite the radio personality trying to convince Bonang to give it a shot, she shared that she was “totally over it.”

Talks of Bonang coming back to radio, specifically Metro FM, made rounds on X (the app formerly known as Twitter) after a post alleged that Bonang would join LootLove and Tbo Touch on the radio show’s afternoon drive.

Furthermore, after hearing that radio broadcaster Nothemba Madumo was leaving Metro FM, Bonang shared that she would need to find a new show. This had an X user suggest she join Radio 702. Bonang responded, “No radio for me. Thank you.”

Commenting on the post, another X user made Bonang aware of the swirling rumours of her return to radio, writing, “You have been saying it but wa trend ke few weeks back and I wondered if uyayazi ba you are ‘going back to radio.'”

Finding humour in the post, Bonang wrote back, “Lol! This app… they give me a new job and new boyfriend every week. It is what it is.”
