Is the world ready for a Nasty C and Kabza De Small collaboration?

Experimenting with their sound is the order of the day for our local artists as Kabza recently teased a shift into the gospel sphere with two new snippets and as if that was not enough, it appears he will be teaming up with the Zulu man with some power, Nasty C on an upcoming song that will shake the South African music industry up.

Although the snippet is merely an instrumental, it is easy to tell that this song will be a banger as it has that recognisable Nasty C touch to it that makes a good song even better. It will be interesting to hear the final product, as both artists are heavily involved in the production of their music. One can’t help but wonder whether one goat will outshine the other on the joint track.

Durban-born rapper Nasty C, born Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo has worked incredibly hard to attain the goat-status recognition he has in the local and international hip-hop community as he continues to push boundaries and produce great quality music that caters to a diverse audience.

Similarly, Kabza De Small, born Kabelo Motha has done the same in his respective field, with an even longer track record. Furthermore, Kabza has proven his versatility as the maestro initially entered the scene as a deep house producer and DJ. Pulling off a hip-hop record could further cement Kabza as the goat of South African music, as he would have managed to do something that not many can pull off, particularly at that level of quality.

Nasty C seems to also have caught the experimental bug as the rapper recently shared a snippet of his new track, produced by Lekaa Beats, and will feature amapiano sensations Zee Nxumalo and Dali Wonga.

“You think I’d let all these drops go without entering the chat? Life of the Party is out next Wednesday. Me and my guy @lekaagotwings have something magical in tuck!” his caption read.
